CANCELLATION POLICY & FEES
Objectives and Background
Unfortunately, when you cancel without giving adequate notice, it prevents us from serving another client. This cancellation policy is used as a way of respecting the time commitment of all involved. It explains the process for requesting a cancellation and the fees applicable. This policy is used in fairness to both our business and the clients who would otherwise have wanted a booking.
EnerTrain believes that a good client and business relationship is based upon mutual understanding, we want to be clear from the outset about all the costs you may face when engaging our services, so please contact us if you have any questions.
Cancellation process and impact
We understand situations can arise in which you must cancel your enrolment in the course. Due to limited booking availability, we request that you cancel with adequate notice. This allows us to fill that booking slot.

When accepting a booking proposal or booking via our website, you understand that we are required to dedicate resources and incur costs to provide the course, even before the course has started. If you cancel your enrolment in the course, you must give us written notice, in which case the below notice periods and fees will apply:
- 5 full business days: no fees payable
- 2-4 full business days: 50% of full course fee
- 1 full business day or less (including no-show and late arrivals): 100% of full course fee
NOTE: For the purpose of this policy, late arrivals are treated as a no-show by default. However, upon arrival, the trainer will advise whether the student can stay and make up the missed content, or if too much content has been missed for the student to effectively participate. This decision will depend on how late the student is, the nature of the course and the content covered.
All references to cancellation of bookings in this policy are also relevant to rescheduled bookings.
