2025 Gas Distribution Refresher – Subcontractor
This course is a mandatory refresher of the Gas Industry Induction. It must be refreshed annually‚ to maintain compliance for working on the Jemena Gas Network. This program INCLUDES breathing apparatus.
This course is conducted as follows:
- Pre-training course work: Students must complete approximately 2 hours of course pre-work, which consists of an e-Learning module and 1 x theory assessment prior to attending face-to-face training.
- If a student does not complete the pre-training course work, they CANNOT attend the face to face training as this is a mandatory attendance requirement. This is treated as a no-show under our cancellation policy and 100% course fee applies.
- 1 day face-to-face training

When accepting a booking proposal or submitting an enrolment request via our website, you understand that we are required to dedicate resources and incur costs to provide the course, even before the course has started. If you cancel your enrolment in the course, you must give us written notice, in which case the below notice periods and fees will apply:
NOTE: If minimum numbers are not met for this course, EnerTrain reserves the right to postpone the course to a future date. In this case, you will be offered to transfer to the new date, or you can cancel your booking with no charge, or a full refund of any monies paid upfront. EnerTrain will provide a minimum of 5 business days notice for postponements.

Successful completion of this course will result in the following:
- Statement of attainment for PMBWELD302E (accredited)
- EnerTrain will also update WAS with annual refresher training requirements
Students must bring the following to the training:
- Standard approved cotton work uniform
- Approved safety footwear
- Approved safety eyewear
- Approved safety gloves
- Pen & notepad
- If students are not comfortable in using shared BA equipment and flash hood during the training‚ they must bring their own‚ for use on the day.
Upon successful completion of the training‚ we will update the Zinfra WAS system with your completed training date.
IMPORTANT NOTES: Your booking will not be confirmed unless:
- A valid WAS (Pegasus) number is provided for all persons you wish to enrol
