First Response Officer – UEGNSG018 First on site response to gas pipeline emergencies
This course is for persons who act as First Responder for gas distribution pipelines on Victorian networks.
Course Details:
To successfully complete this program, students must successfully complete the following:
- 2 days initial training including theory and practical assessment
- approximately 2-3 month workplace exposure with submission of workplace evidence to our assessment portal
- 4 hour post training Final Practical Assessment (face-to-face) once Workplace Assessment is marked satisfactory.
UNITS OF COMPETENCY
Successful course completion results in a Statement of Attainment (partial qualification) with the following unit from the UEG30122 Certificate III in Gas Supply Industry Operations:

- Face-to-Face Theory Training
- Face-to-Face Practical Training

DURATION
- 2 days initial training (8.00am – 4.00pm each day)
- 4 hour post training Final Practical Assessment (face-to-face) once Workplace Assessment is marked satisfactory.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS
Students must bring the following to training:
- USI number (Unique Student Identifier) for accredited enrolment form
- Normal approved work uniform (PPE – personal protective equipment safety clothing)
- Protective footwear (steel cap boots)
- Protective eyewear
- Protective gloves
- Pen & notebook
Certificates are awarded only after:
- Completion of all required training and assessment activities
- Full payment of all course fees

Unfortunately, when you cancel without giving adequate notice, it prevents us from serving another client. This cancellation policy is used as a way of respecting the time commitment of all involved. It explains the process for requesting a cancellation and the fees applicable. This policy is used in fairness to both our business and the clients who would otherwise have wanted a booking.
EnerTrain firmly believes that a good client and business relationship is based upon mutual understanding, we want to be clear from the outset about all the costs you may face when engaging our services, so please contact us if you have any questions.
We understand situations can arise in which you must cancel your enrolment in the course. Due to limited appointment availability, we request that you cancel with adequate notice. This allows us to fill that booking slot. You may cancel by contacting us via:

When accepting a booking proposal or submitting an enrolment request via our website, you understand that we are required to dedicate resources and incur costs to provide the course, even before the course has started. If you cancel your enrolment in the course, you must give us written notice, in which case the below notice periods and fees will apply:
- 5 full business days: no fees payable
- 2-4 full business days: 50% of full course fee
- 1 full business day or less (including no show): 100% of full course fee
All references to cancellation of bookings in this policy, are also relevant to rescheduled bookings.
