GAS INDUSTRY TRAINER & ASSESSOR

About the role

We require a Trainer/Assessor with a gas industry construction and/or maintenance background, to work from our Ferntree Gully office.  This person must be passionate and enthusiastic about supporting the development of industry personnel.  The role will involve the following:

  • Delivering gas industry training programs face to face
  • Conducting assessments in a training environment and on site
  • Conducting online sessions via Microsoft Teams
  • Reviewing & advising on current training materials
  • Industry engagement with key stakeholders, to ensure training program and trainer knowledge currency
  • Regional and interstate travel

Skills and experience required

The below outlines the requirements for this position:

  • A current TAE qualification is required.  A superseded TAE qualification is acceptable, but the successful candidate will need to upgrade this qualification promptly.  For the right candidate, we are prepared to put you through the Certificate IV TAE qualification.
  • UEG qualification/units of competency required
  • Must be capable of using software packages like Microsoft Word and Powerpoint.
  • Must have sound computer and general technology skills.
  • Must be a strong communicator.
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years general Gas Industry experience with at least 5yrs concentrated experience in either Mains & Services, System Operations or Transmission streams.
